Circle.us Help Center

Welcome To Circle.us!

Do you offer parcel insurance? How does that work?

Yes, we cooperate with the third-party insurance and can offer parcel insurance at a lower price!

"Carrier INS" is the value you insure with carrier. "Circle.us INS" is the value you insure with Circle.us

Circle.us Insurance Pricing

Carrier Premium (Per $100) Parcel Limit Shipment Limit
UPS $0.45 $10,000.00 $100,000.00
FedEx $0.45 $10,000.00 $100,000.00
USPS $0.45 $10,000.00 $100,000.00

Note:

(1)  Packages containing cell phones and laptops have a lower parcel limit, which will be insured up to $5000.00 per package, $100,000.00 per shipment. So please pack your merchandise properly by reducing the containing quantities to stay below the limit. Or you can choose carrier insurance to cover the excessive part of the value.

(2)  Circle.us will provide insurance coverage on the shipping of fine jewelry. However, Circle.us will not provide coverage for items shipped to the following zip codes: 10036, 10017, 94102 and 94108. The limit is $10,000.00 per package, $100,000.00 per shipment.

(3)  Please be advised that $500 insurance purchase with FedEx will not guarantee a free signature for Ground/Home Delivery. We have seen a number of cases that FedEx charged the $500 insurance and signature fee simultaneously and would not refund the excessive charge. We suggest using Circle.us insurance instead and purchasing signature if needed.

  1. When can I purchase Circle.us insurance?

Before your packages are shipped, you can insure them with Circle.us any time you want. Whether it is before the ship date you choose or after as long as the packages stay unshipped. However, once they are shipped, you have 12 hours to insure them.

  1. How do I insure my package with Circle.us?

With the default declared value of $100 for FedEx and UPS and $50 for USPS(default declared value varies with different services), you just need to insure the rest of the commodity value with Circle.us. For example, suppose you have a package valued at $300 and you want to ship it with FedEx. With the default declared value of $100, you simply need to insure $200 with Circle.us. Pay less and insure your package in full amount.

  1. When can I void and resubmit Circle.us insurance?

If your packages are not shipped, you are free to void and resubmit the insurance. But make sure that only one entry covers the package. For example, suppose you have a package valued at $500, for which you already insured $300 with Circle.us. Since this package means a lot to you and you want to rest assured, you decide to insure $100 more for it. Now you need to void the previous $300 insurance and resubmit an insurance request of $400 for your package. By doing that, there is only one entry covering the package.

But if your packages have already been shipped, the insurance cannot be voided and the insured value cannot be changed.
